Tim’s passion for music has spanned decades, and taken him from delivering high energy Rock’n ’Roll in the 60’s (starting with Brisbane based outfit, Ross D Wyllie and the Kodiaks), to these days, enjoying a more mellow style of performance. He has supported many legends on stage, including The Rolling Stones, Tom Jones, Eartha Kitt, Johnny O’Keefe, Sherbet, Thorpy and The Aztecs…and once turned down an offer to join the Bee Gees (the twins were 12 at the time!)
Forging a less mainstream musical career with her first husband Geoff Adeney, Maggie spent 6 yrs on the road for the Qld Arts Council with a travelling music show for Children. She later travelled with the prestigious Circus Royale as a member of the Circus Band. Over the last 25 years she has played for countless Weddings, Parties and special events, and has performed at Tamworth, The Gympie Muster, Maleny and Woodford Festivals in bands playing Irish, Gypsy, Folk and Country music.
Partners in music and in life, Tim and Maggie have played together since 1999 both as a duo, and as members of larger bands.
As well as playing for parties as The Baby Boomer Party Band, they also entertain regularly on the Club circuit and other venues in SE QLD.
Regular Venues include: Club Banora, Twin Towns, Caloundra RSL, Kedron-Wavell RSL, Nambour RSL, Coolum Bowls Club, Maroochy Swans Bowls Club, and Botanix Lifestyle Centre
